Group Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

As Group Compliance Manager (m/f/d), you lead and refine the Compliance function across the MB Energy Group. In this role, you oversee the group-wide compliance framework and ensure that regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and internal policies are consistently implemented across all business units and international entities. You act as a trusted advisor to senior management and play a key role in strengthening a strong culture of integrity and accountability throughout the organization. By driving strategic initiatives, managing complex compliance topics, and leading the Compliance team, you contribute directly to safeguarding the company’s reputation and supporting sustainable business operations across the group.
- Lead Compliance Function: You lead and advance the group compliance team, ensuring effective collaboration and a consistent compliance framework across all entities.
- Compliance Management System: You design, implement, and continuously improve the group-wide compliance management system, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Investigations and Whistleblowing: You oversee the whistleblower hotline and lead internal and external investigations related to potential compliance violations.
- Regulatory Oversight: You safeguard compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Policies and Training: You develop and maintain compliance policies as well as the code of conduct and deliver training programs to strengthen compliance awareness across the organization.
- Advisory and Reporting: You advise management on compliance-related matters and ensure accurate group-wide compliance and human rights reporting.
- Education: A full degree in law ideally combined with relevant professional experience in compliance or a related function.
- Regulatory Expertise: Sound knowledge of key compliance areas such as anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, anti-trust law, CSRD, and supply chain due diligence (e.g., LKSG).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a structured and pragmatic approach to solving complex regulatory topics.
- Project Background: Track reckord in managing projects, ideally in an international or cross-functional environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with IT systems, internal controls, or accounting systems is an advantage.
- Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
