Senior Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:

• Function as CISO/ISO Officer
• Proxy role acting as Compliance Officer:
  • Works towards identifying the main legal regulations and requirements, taking risk aspects into account.
  • Advises and supports the management regarding compliance with legal regulations and requirements.
  • Prepares and evaluates internal bank regulations and internal publications.
  • Ensures compliance-relevant bank-internal information and training of employees.
• Holds leading responsibility for Team Legal:
  • Represents the bank in connection with legal proceedings.
  • Represents the bank in dealing with the legal problems of customers and legal disputes.
  • Provides legal advice and drafts contracts regarding general agreements with third parties.
  • Selects, mandates, and maintains direct contact with external lawyers.
  • Monitors legal and arbitration proceedings.

Desired skills & experience:

• University degree, major in Law, Finance, Economics, Banking Business preferred
• Very good English and German skills, Chinese knowledge helpful, but not mandatory
• Above than 5 years of professional experience in the banking sector, legal advisory, familiar with local requirements, ideally in the compliance function.
• Good skills in all standard office tools
• Team-oriented, open-minded, conscientious, reliable and loyal
