Manager Product Compliance (m/f/d)
What you may expect
- Monitor legal development in chemicals and other product areas
- Identify business opportunities (product, service, others) from legal developments and calculate business cases together with responsible Product Manager
- Identify the legal obligations (European, national) for placing products on the market (e.g., according to CLP, REACH, biocide regulation, construction products regulation and others) and ensure compliance to them
- Coordinate external service providers, testing institutes and consultants for product compliance; cooperate with authorities, internal and external suppliers
- Manage the external creation of safety data sheets, workplace instructions, Art. 45 registrations and other documents related to product compliance
- Create compliance-related documents and declarations internally (in alignment with Quality Management and Legal department)
- Support Product Managers and Product Administration in the field of classification, labelling and sales restrictions
- Support sales subsidiaries in case of requests from customers and/or authorities related to product compliance
- Support projects and manage own projects
What distinguishes you
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemistry and Business Management, Industrial Engineering and Business Management or alternatively technical education or studies in Business Administration
- Advanced experiences in product safety (classification and labelling, SDS creation, CLP etc.)
- Several years of work experience in related expert subject and in an international environment
- Extensive knowledge in PIM and MS Office
- Fluency in English and German
- Team player (m/f/d) and strong communicator (m/f/d) with hands-on mentality
- Result-oriented mindset and project management skills
