INTRODUCTION
After setting up a compliance management in close cooperation with our Information Security and Legal Team, you'll be mainly responsible for ensuring our business operations and procedures comply with legal regulations and internal policies.
In this position, you will be part of the Legal & Risk Department and perform a range of duties including evaluating all current and new compliance regulations, reviewing and drafting processes. Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

YOUR MISSION
- Coordination and implementation of overarching company projects with compliance relevance
- Development of preventive measures to avert risk potentials
- Evaluate our business processes, identify potential risks relevant to law requirements and develop appropriate, preventive measures being the contact person for all departments and consultants on all compliance-relevant issues in the company
- Verify compliance with the relevant legal, customer and company requirements and conduct regular compliance training for our employees
- Create regular reports for the management or investors on current state of compliance
- Answer customer questionnaires and manage the corresponding internal process
- Educate your co-workers
- Continuously develop compliance as a business topic, create relevant specifications and documentation and optimize existing processes, concepts, guidelines and policies
- Responsibility for the creation and ongoing adaptation of our internal and external documentation
- Act as interface between Management, Customer Success, Legal and Information Security
- Collaboration and support of the Information Security Team in context of the ISMS - especially in context of regular reports and audits
YOUR PROFILE
- 2+ years’ experience as a compliance manager or in a similar position
- Fully qualified lawyer (or business lawyer with excellent exams). Ideally strong knowledge of German and EU law
- Strong knowledge of (ideally IT) industry processes and regulations and good understanding of technical correlations
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills
- Structured and result- as well as practice-oriented way of working
- General understanding of law requirements and contracts and information security, general knowledge of ISMS (especially ISO27001) and data protection (GDPR)
- Confident appearance and a high degree of independence
- Interest in interdisciplinary cooperation
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
